I get many ideas for books or what I think should be made into movies. This is pure fiction and should be treated as such. Ok. Now to my idea. I get ideas in the form of usually mental pictures so bare with me.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre

The new version did as much justice to the original as Friday the 13th the Series did for the movie series,NONE. I for one was not impressed. It did have a couple of ok scenes and decent effects. BUt over all, 2 wings down...........The wife wasn't impressed with it either.

Loved it Barabara! The only drawback I saw was in the proofreading. There were some really weird typos in it, but other than that, an excellent book. I encourage everyone to go out and get it. 2 wings up! I especially like the greek mythology twist.

Into DUNE? Haven't read the prequel trilogy yet? It's a must......... I'm re-reading House Atreides and I love it as much the 2nd time around. I haven't had that reaction in a while. You wonder how Baron Harkonnen got to be the diseased man he became? Well, read the book. The Dune series as well as the trilogy are a must for any sci-fi fan's collection.

The Vampire's Violin

Another masterpiece from Michael Romkey. A woman gets one of Paganinni's violins. An "Angel" violin, to be precise, one that a vampire has been hunting for centuries......... A must read. Oh by the way Michael, if you want some good arpeggio studies, let me know.....ha ha ha ha I transcribed the Caprice #24 for guitar, I could work something up for violin too.

Just got done with Merrick, by Anne Rice. Loved it. Want to know if there's any relevance to Claudia's haunting in the scene with Jesse of the Talamasca? Read the book! If you liked Memnoch the Devil, you'll like this one. A nice blen of her Vampire Chronicles, and The Mayfair Witches. Thumbs up!!!!

Sorry, had to give an over-all thumbs down. While it did the 70's slashers justice, it had no good effects. If it had a bigger budget, maybe would raise the other one. But I'll keep a thumb at half mast..........
