I have a friend at work whose daughter is an aspiring poet. She's twelve, but thinks much older, if her writing is any indication. But, her father told me she was upset at the grade she got on it. I hyped her up, true, but well desrved....... By the time I read 2 of her books (bridged by 2 or 3 between) I think they are GREAT.... She includes the love, erotic, and the mystery. Not to mention the CONFLICT! In themselves, and in their world............"Sorry for the LATE review Karen, you should know by now I can't afford to buy all the books I want, and didn't want to review the series without reading at least half. I had a delay on a doctor's appointment this morning due to weather (parts of the state covered in ice...) so I have a few minutes to consider this question.

Count Dracula -- PBS FULL version (not the edited piece of crap they try to sell...) with Louis Jordan.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer -- understand I am usually opposed to anything that has the words "vampire slayer" in the title and I don't watch the series, but the movie was tremendously...

I would have to say Armand, from the Anne Rice series. He enjoys what he is, yet is heartbreakingly tragic and human all at the same time.
